This is one of the new images I've been working on. Most of the color is watercolor and gouache. My favorite palette, permanent rose, cad yellow, blue lake gouache and emerald green gouache. :-)

Yesterday's Page, more finished....

So here is yesterday's page, with a lot more finished. Now I think I'll go back over it later with colored pencil and such, and make it more colorful. The side pieces along the right are pieces of magazine page, that I liked the color of, as well as the goofy picture of the bag. The image on the left hand side is a color copy of one of my girl doodles. :-)

January 4, beginning of my own day planner

The previous entry is for the planner I'm designing to sell, this one is my personal planner that I got the idea to 'create' from Wendy from Australia (click on her name to go to her blog).

I really wanted something specific this year, and after searching and not finding what I want, I took her cue to just create my own, specific for ME!

Originally I drew this in Coloursoft pencils, and then I scanned it into the computer and imported it into Illustrator. In Illustrator I used the trace feature and then it turned the image into vector based images, every little section of color no matter how small is now an object, kinda like tiny pieces of paper.
