Finding images....

I've been finding all of my loose drawings and putting them into portfolios. This is one from my Pink Cottage series, and I am rather fond of the idea of a HUGE closet! Since our little house has only two small ones!

The marvels of Illustrator. I love that program! I took my photo of my Chicken painting (which has since been changed pretty drastically) and used 'trace' in Adobe Illustrator. It creates chunks of color and simplifies the image. I love how it reinterprets the 'paint' again, from paint to photo to digital paint. It is an intriguing way to look at the image again.

Well here is one of my paintings. There is some glare, but he's a pretty active chicken, huh?

It is from a photo I took when we were in Key West seven years ago. What a great trip that was!

Autumn Trees

This is watercolor and ink. I actually painted the page first, randomly. Then went back in with my ink pen and drew the trees. :-) Happy accidents.
