New Journal!

I loved the way my 'sweet cupcake' painting turned out, so I repainted it on a blank journal!

No, no, I agree, we NEVER have enough journals, that's like saying we have enough handbags!!! NEVER!!!!

Magical

I reread Harry Potter this weekend. Book 1. It so inspires me to want to write a magical, inspiring story for kids! I get so lost and wrapped up in those stories that it just makes me WANT to create a world for kids too! Even as an adult it absolutely absorbs me-imagination and all. So I've been volleying ideas around in my writing journal and writing and rewriting ideas. Obviously I don't want to copy JK Rowling, but that world is so intriguing and rich... it reminds me of what I always felt when I read the OZ books. Magical, wonder, awe, escape.
